Finance Officer

We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer.  The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of computerised book keeping systems, such as Sage or similar and Excel, and must be well organised and enthusiastic.

You will be part of a creative and dynamic organisation that works hard to inspire and connect with all sections of the community developing and delivering a range of high quality dance projects and initiatives. We believe that taking part in high quality dance activity can be a life changing experience. 

Duties will include all aspects of the day to day financial administration, including the processing of receipts and payments, credit control, bank reconciliations, producing management accounts and, if possible, payroll. The candidate will report directly to the CEO and must be able to work on their own initiative. 

Salary: £19,500 to £21,500, depending on experience

Hours:  18 to 22.5 hours per week, flexible. 

Holiday entitlement: 27 days pro rata, plus bank holidays.

Community Fundraiser

Ludus Dance is looking to recruit a Community Fundraiser.

Please note that this job is being re-advertised on June 21st 2017 with a revised job description and person specification.

You will be part of a creative and dynamic organisation that works hard to inspire and connect with all sections of the community developing and delivering a range of high quality dance projects and initiatives. We believe that taking part in high quality dance activity can be a life changing experience. 

As Community Fundraiser your role will be to maximise all relevant community fundraising opportunities. This will involve working closely with the Chief Executive and the wider team to identify relevant fundraising opportunities; developing and delivering a range of community fundraising campaigns and initiatives and establishing and maintaining a team of volunteers to support community fundraising activity

Salary: Up to £10.00 per hour (£19,500 pro-rata) depending on experience

Hours:   7.5 hours (1 day) per week, flexible
