Business Development and Fundraising Manager

Moving into an exciting phase of growth and development, Ludus Dance is looking to recruit a dynamic business development professional to join the team.

A newly developed post, the Business Development and Fundraising Manager (BDFM) will act as lead for delivering all aspects of Ludus Dance’s fundraising activities, primarily through the diversification of income streams.

If your ambition is to work within a vibrant arts organisation, situated in the heart of Lancaster, that champions the development of work for, by and with children and young people in places of least engagement across the North West, then this job may be for you.

We are looking for an experienced business development professional with a strong vision for nurturing high quality arts based initiatives by translating artistic ideas into a language suitable for a variety of funders.

Working with an experienced team of dance, marketing and administrative professionals, you will be part of a creative and dynamic organisation that works hard to inspire and connect with all sections of the community, developing and delivering a range of high quality dance projects and initiatives. We believe that taking part in high quality dance activity can be a life changing experience. 

Salary:  Up to £28,000 pro rata depending on experience. Contract permanent.

Hours:   30 hours (4 days) per week, flexible

LUDUS DANCE

General Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Do you have great organisational and administrative skills? Are you experienced in a range of IT applications? Are you outcomes focused, proactive and get things done?

If yes, then Ludus Dance needs you!

You will be part of a creative and dynamic organisation that works hard to inspire and connect with all sections of the community developing and delivering a range of high quality dance projects and initiatives. We believe that taking part in high quality dance activity can be a life changing experience. The general assistant will play a supportive role in making this happen.

This role is broad and provides administrative support across all areas of the organisation. Key areas of responsibility will include general office administration and reception support for dance classes.

Salary: National Minimum Wage

Hours: 7.5 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract: 30th October 2017 – 30th July 2018

Community Fundraiser

Are you a motivated Community Fundraiser looking for your next challenge?

If so come and join our small and creative organisation that works hard to inspire and connect with all sections of the community, developing and delivering a range of high quality dance projects and initiatives. We believe that taking part in high quality dance activity can be a life changing experience. 

As our Community Fundraiser you'll bring your great ideas to raise our income, and will also be responsible for increasing engagement within the local community.

The role will involve working closely with the Artistic Director/CEO and the wider team to identify relevant fundraising opportunities; managing a range of community fundraising campaigns and establishing and maintaining a team of volunteers to support fundraising activity.

Salary:  Up to £10.00 per hour (£19,500 pro-rata) depending on experience

Hours:  7.5 hours (1 day per week) flexible

Period of contract: Fixed term contract until 31st July 2019 with the possibility of extension subject to continued funding and/or the success of the post
