Dance is a collaborative experience and as such, we are particularly affected by having to be apart from one another right now. We made the decision back in March to temporarily close our building and suspend provision of our services. Three months later, and with the gradual easing of lockdown, we would like to update you on our plans and progress made so far.
We have successfully moved our programmes online, keeping young people engaged and connected by providing weekly sessions for our regulars and youth company. If you miss dance as much as we miss you then please do get in touch.
Whilst we’re not able to come together in the studio space we have programmed some outdoor sessions this summer, to share space and dance in safety. Stay tuned to hear more about our outdoor dance sessions.
We continue to create digital content for adolescents with acute mental health issues, as well as mentoring emerging artists and advocating for the future of the socially engaged arts and performance. We are forming new partnerships with organisations who support children who have suffered domestic abuse and are planning school’s work from September.
Our social media and website will continue to be updated regularly and you can contact members of the Ludus Dance Team directly or get in touch with us via info@ludusdance.org.
As always, your support and kindness is greatly appreciated.

Hi My daughter, Abbie Sheerin has been attending Ludas since she was a baby. She now feels that she has outgrown her class, Dance Blast on a Sturday morning, prior to lockdown and would like to try something new when able. I must admit she does not appear to get as much out of the sessions as she used to. Is there anything else, appropriate to her age (8) that may be suitable for her please? Kind regards Karen
