Get 2018 off to a flying start and book onto our two day Early Years course on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd February 2018, 9:30- 4:30pm.
Led by Primed For Life (primedforlife.co.uk) Early Years specialists and authors of
‘Understanding Physical Development in the Early Years: linking bodies and
minds’, this training will share key theory and practice from community dance
and early education as well as neuroscience and developmental movement.
We welcome those working in early years or those wanting to develop their skills
with early years including dance artists, nursery and children’s centre staff, EYFS
teachers, sports and activity coaches, community arts practitioners, students/
graduates. This course will combine movement, discussion and exploration for
those dedicated to quality practice with early years children.
During this two day course, you will:
- Increase your understanding of how dance supports children’s ‘brain
building’, wellbeing and skills for learning - Improve confidence in your facilitation skills of dance and creative
movement with early years, particularly birth to 5 years - Become an advocate for fully physical play and creativity on behalf of
your early years children
