Arts Award is a nationally recognised programme of learning and discovery for children and young people aged from 5 up to 25.

Explore through to Gold levels are accredited under the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).

The arts award programme encourages young people to explore and reach further within their own creative practice.  Whilst it provides validation for those with a passion for the arts, it also supports transferable skills development. Working towards achieving an Arts Award can help to build confidence, encourages young people to enjoy cultural activities and prepares them for further education or employment.

Students can explore and develop projects related to any art form, including performing arts, visual arts, literature, media and multimedia and will learn about aspects of leadership and creative sharing.

For us the Arts Award is a valuable tool to engage those that normally disengage from mainstream academic subjects. It’s fun, flexible and can be tailored to suit the needs of any group.

All of Ludus Dance’s Creative Team are qualified Arts Award Advisers and can help you to guide a full class or individual students through any of the levels.
