We can help your primary school deliver a high quality dance experience to KS1 and KS2 - either within school hours or as part of your after-school provision.
To meet your objectives, budget and time requirements, this can range from single workshops to one-off projects or longer-term programmes. Workshops can be linked to the curriculum and to specific topics - such as the environment, around the world, animals, seasons, the weather – or they can support school events and celebrations - such as Arts Week, school productions or anniversaries.
Our 'Shake Up' after-school activity programme is a fun, engaging and informative dance and health intervention programme - promoting healthy lifestyle habits, talking childhood obesity and building physical literacy amongst children of primary school age. Participation fees are heavily subsidised by Ludus Dance and could be either further subsidised / funded by the school, via Pupil Premium or Sports Premium budgets, or through a nominal weekly fee.
We also have a Primary Dance Teacher Development Programme, which combines CPD, mentoring and off-the-shelf or newly developed lesson plans.
Prior to carrying out any project work, we will meet with you to discuss your needs and can also support you in applying for funds to allow the project to take place.
Whether its supporting GCSE Dance delivery or a designing a one-off project, Ludus Dance can help you.
