BORDERLINES runs in partnership with Lancaster & Morecambe College to deliver a six-week creative traineeship.

This arts based programme has been designed to enable young people, aged 16 to 24 to access high quality, creative industry based learning. The trainees will take part in dance, choreography and design whilst building their confidence, resilience and developing key employability skills.

Designed in partnership with Lancaster & Morecambe College, the programme supports trainees using an adaptive approach to delivery. The trainees plan and drive decision making, fostering a sense of ownership, impacting positively on self-esteem, pride and belonging.

Led by a team of experienced artists and tutors, the programme mirrors the working day of a performing arts professional; devising new work, developing practical fitness, learning performance skills, reviewing work and planning an event.

As a celebration of the groups achievements, they perform for family, friends and invited guests, which is filmed to share online.
