Kick-Start: Full on CPD Days

An intensive half or full day training programme for teachers wanting to develop their creative dance toolkit (either in our studio or at your school).

Supporting the development of a balanced curriculum with arts and culture front and centre, this programme will provide teachers with the skills to deliver creative movement sessions without the pressure of ‘teaching dance moves’.

Suitable for dancers and non-dancers, we can deliver to up to 15 teachers, so why not pal up with your neighbouring school and all pitch in!

Kick-Start: Autonomy

Work alongside a professional dance artist for up to 12 weeks (1/1.5 hrs per week) to develop and deliver a full creative dance scheme of work along your chosen theme and Key stage group.

A combination of training, mentoring and co-delivery, this programme has been proven to support the teacher, students and school curriculum, allowing for richer cultural education experiences.

Dance Moves: After School Clubs

We can offer regular extended dance provision for your school and students. Either developing core skills or working towards a performance, our dance clubs are delivered by local dance professionals.

Our dance artists can also deliver many dance forms, to suit the interests of your students.

Dance Moves: Youth Dance

Working with one of our Dance Development Officers, we can work with you to develop your very own youth dance company.

Providing positive exposure for the school in a community dance setting, this is an alternate and enhanced dance training programme to support the schools cultural offer to students passionate about the arts.

As part of the offer, we can also signpost to local events and youth dance festivals and support with application writing.

Dance Moves: Arts Award

A Ludus Dance professional will support the delivery of a Bronze Arts Award project over 12 weeks in 90-minute sessions for a maximum of 20 students.

Exploring dance as the art form, this will enable students to gain an accredited qualification.
