DANCE CLASSES

Join us at our Studio Training Programme every Tuesday during term-time at The Storey, LA1 1TH

Ludus Dance classes offer children and young people a joyous and creative space to play in at our home in The Storey. 

Led by professional dancers and supported by Ludus Dance staff, we deliver play-based contemporary dance classes for 2 - 14 year olds.

Our studio training programme aims to develop skills in: collaboration, problem solving and communication, which helps develop self confidence and resillience.

We welcome all children, the wilder, the quieter and everything in between - (just let us know in advance if your child requires 1-2-1 support)

Bounce Blast

What it is: An improvisational movement class for children & their grown ups

Who it’s for: Suitable for children aged 2–4 years

When is it: Tuesdays 4:00 - 4:35pm

Cost:

Individual class: £5.00
Block book half term (7 weeks): £35.00
Block book full term (12 weeks): £55.00

Dance Blast

What it is: A weekly improvisation-led contemporary dance class filled with dance games, improvisation and an introduction to contemporary dance technique.

Who it’s for: Suitable for children aged 5–9 years old

When is it: Tuesdays 4:45 – 5:30pm

Cost:

Individual class: £5.00
Half term (7 weeks): £35.00
Full term (12 weeks): £55.00

LYDC Juniors

What it is: An improvisation-led contemporary dance class.

Who it’s for: Suitable for young people aged 10–14 year olds

When is it: Tuesdays 5:30 - 7pm

Cost:

Individual class: £7.00
Block book half term (7 weeks): £49.00
Block book full term (12 weeks): £77.00

 

For the Autumn term 2025, all Classes run from the 9th September  - 9th December  (with no class on the 28th October or the 4th November for the half term break and Light Up Lancaster Preperations)

Our final class on the 9th December is a special performance event featuring all of the students and their teachers dancing together!
