Three Degrees Festival

A Creative Intensive exploring the power of Community Action!

 

Commissioned by More Music and choreographed by Sophie Barrow and Tamzin Williams (2026 resident of our Artist Development Programme).

Over a two day intensive, we worked with 8 students from Morecambe Bay Academy and 4 members from Ludus Youth Dance Company to collaboratively create a performance for More Music's Three Degrees Festival. 

The performance ecompasses the saying "A small group of people to change the world!". Each with a piece of the puzzle - the bigger picture is revealed through teamwork, collaboration and community action.

 

More Music's, Three Degrees Festival in Morecambe's West End was a vibrant free community festival of music, creativity and climate action. Sharing how small connected actions by all of us can ripple outwards to make a meaningful difference. Produced by young people from More Music's Eco Collective. The event had live music, spoken work, arts and crafts, fun creative workshops and much more! 

We look forward to contributing again next year!
